How will a chart reading affect my choices, fate and free will?

You have free will. That freedom is in part what makes us human. It is however, up to you to exercise that freedom. An astrology reading can provide greater clarity and and understanding, so that you have a belter opportunity to make the right choices in your life.

People often misunderstand fate. Many people repeat the same patterns or act out of the same wrong understanding that quite literally traps them in fate. It is important to become not only more aware of your patterns so that you do not repeat the same mistakes over again, but also to become more aware of alternate choices and opportunities that can be reveled to you. It would definitely not increase your options. In a similar way, not taking advantage of what astrology can offer in terms of giving you a personal manual of how you work best, the traps to avoid and what are optimal choices for you, is like opening your eyes to the possibilities before you. In this way, astrology can be like a map of who you are, where you have been and where you are going.

Although astrology offers insights and reveals what is happening around you, like anything else, it can be misused.

One way that people misuse astrology, is to use it as an excuse not to move forward. Unfortunately there is a lot written about astrology in the media and in books that is not representative of its true offering. As a result, there are a lot of misconceptions and erroneous beliefs.

Many of these misconceptions surround the true meanings of the astrological signs. Thus if you read that a Virgo loves to criticize or that a Leo seeks attention or that Libra is indecisive, these are the negative tendencies that can occur, but they are not appropriate descriptions of the signs in terms of their true meanings.

However those that choose to be critical, seek attention or avoid decisions may use astrology as an excuse not to change their behaviors.

Another way that people misuse astrology is to use it as means to avoid life and challenges. Some people seek predictions so that they can determine what is in store for them so that they can avoid things. As a result, they pay an even greater price of not growing, of not moving forward and of not taking advantage of the support the universe is providing for growth and moving forward.
